Add and configure images in an email template

The image block allows you to insert and customize visual content within an email template in ITGallery.

Add an image block

  1. Go to the template editor from the Mailing module.
  2. In the Content section, select the Images block.
  3. Drag the Images block into the desired position in your template.

Upload images to the content manager

The content manager allows you to upload, organize, and select images for your templates.

  1. Click on the image block icon.
  2. This will open a dropdown with your content. If you haven’t uploaded anything yet, it will appear empty.
  3. Drag and drop your files to upload them.
  4. You can organize your content by creating folders.

Insert an image

  1. Click on the image block icon.
  2. Select the image from the content manager.
  3. Once selected, the image will appear in your template.


Image settings

  1. Select the image in your template.
  2. In the left-hand menu, configure the following options:
    1. Link to: Add a link to redirect users when they click the image.
    2. Open in a new tab: Enable this option to open the link in a new tab.
    3. Alt text: Add alternative text that will appear if the image does not load.
    4. Alignment: Set the image position (left, center, or right).
    5. Width: Adjust the image size using the slider.

Background and block design

In the image block settings, configure the design options:

    1. Background color: Apply a color using the selector, RGB values, or hexadecimal code.
    2. Border radius: Adjust the border to round the corners of the image.
    3. Margins: Define the space around the image within the block.

Use GIFs

  1. Upload the GIF file to the content manager.
  2. Select the GIF from the image block.
  3. The GIF will be displayed automatically in the template.

Replace an image

  1. Select the image in the template.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Change image.
  3. Select or upload a new image from the content manager.
  4. The new image will automatically replace the previous one.
