Difference between Templates and Mailing

Mailing submenu

In ITGallery, you have two menus to manage your newsletters: an email template is a reusable email design, while a mailing is the actual sending of that email to one or more contacts.

When you select Mailing in the left-hand menu, you will see two submenus: Access and Templates.

What is the Templates submenu

The Templates submenu allows you to create and manage reusable email designs using a simple drag-and-drop editor.

What is the Access submenu

By clicking Access, you will enter the external mailing module, where you can manage and send email campaigns. Its main features include:

  1. Select recipients: Choose the contacts or contact lists you want to send the email to.
  2. Apply templates: Select one of the templates created in the Templates submenu and customize it for your campaign.
  3. Write from scratch: If you prefer, you can compose an email without using a template.
  4. Schedule campaigns: Set a specific date and time for sending your email.
  5. Tracking and results: Access statistics such as who opened the email, how many times, and link clicks.
